The Churnet Valley Railway
The Route
The Churnet Valley Railway (CVR) is a 5 and a half mile preserved railway which has grown from the late 1970s. The six Class 104 vehicles this group looks after are all located on this railway. Since 2001 the CVR has run trains from Leekbrook Junction to Kingsley and Froghall and has three beautifully restored stations open to passengers.
